This book is about the second prison ship used by the Unionist Goverment, Al Rawdah, shines a light on a lesser-known period in Irish history, providing detailed patterns of arrest, detention and internment without trial using the Cival Authorities Special Powers Act, between December 1938 and August 1940. It gives concise details of each of the 207 Internees who were held in the Al Rawdah in Strangford Lough beginning 2nd September 1940 and ending on 13th February 1941.
